Hi I was turned down a buy to let mortgage that I applied for to pay off a mortgage in a probate matter,(so I put property on the market) I also appealed directly to the mortgage company (not through broker) and was told that they would give me a buy to let mortgage and the only requirement was that I removed the property from the market. The broker was then sent the requirements, pleasantly surprised that I had now got the go ahead for the mortgage. I removed property from market.
now I am being told I have to re- apply!
is there any breach of contract here?
