Sorry, I don't know what you're getting at, but as I understand it, Autism Awareness Week is promoted by people who think that autism is something that should be cured.
Many in the autistic community don't like that idea and I think that that is entirely understandable, but I think it is important that more people are aware of it.
I don't know enough to properly comment.

They have fairly well failed to get any point across as far as I can tell: I only heard about it because I've taken an interest.
