Non denial denial

discussing the 45th President of the USA

Non denial denial

Postby dls » Tue May 16, 2017 8:54 am

Trump is accused of disclosing material to the Russian ambassador which was sufficient to risk the Russians identifying the source. Trump's aid walks out and strongly denies three different things, things the President is not accused of.

There is nothing he takes more seriously than the security of the American people (It must be ok then if some poor schmuck in Syria gets it in the neck from Assad for having helped Trump)
At no time were intelligence sources or methods discussed (but information was revealed which might allow conclusions as to these)
The president did not disclose any military operations (not accused of doing so)

Well goodness me! None of our politicians would behave so duplicitously. Would they?

I offered it as a fairly clear example of a non denial denial.

It ought to be something which children are taught at school.

Trump speaks to his constituency.

He does not care what his critics think.

His constituency loves him; their love is unconditional and will remain so until such point as it ends and turns to hatred.

I never knew he was Labour.

Easy for you to say. You seem to forget that almost half the population are below average intelligence.

Yourself apart, is below average intelligence insufficient for the purpose? I expect that something in the order of 80% will be pretty close to the average, within a range a little below to a little above. The distribution is likely to be on a Bell Curve.

Without having seen the actual data, I cannot comment on how difficult an effective analysis is.
Even if I had and could, it really is very hard to judge how smart the average is. I think you are probably further above it than you realise.
