Whether or not the LIbDems are in favour of it or not became entirely irrelevant on 23 June 2016 - and the Lib Dems themselves under their current so-called Leader are a disgrace to UK politics.

What the LibDems think is irrelevant, as they have rendered themselves an irrelevancy in current British politics.

Given the manner in which the UK has been treated by the EU, there's nothing worth salvaging. Better to start afresh, as our Prime Minister has effectively said - completely unshackled from the derelict and sinking EUroship.

The LibDems are EU apologists living in their own increasing time-warp, and do not deserve to be taken seriously.

Miner, the Lib Dems are not a disgrace to British politics. You may not agree with them, but they have a consistent position based on principles. They may not have many votes in the House of Commons, but they are entitled to use them.

For an irrelevance, they seem to be winning a lot of elections. In local council byelections they are chalking up some very impressive swings. Perhaps it looks different from another continent.
