Great, and it only took eighteen rounds of negotiations, and 4 1/2 years of formal talks (and a lot of informal talks before that). Easy peasy.

Trade deals are notoriously difficult and complex. The Trans Pacific Partnership negotiations took eight years. Those with the EU do not seem to be any more or less protracted than other such talks. We have almost no time to conclude one with our largest partner, and we've no experience of undertaking negotiations since 1973.

Contradict with evidence and argument, not ad hominem personal attack please.

We've no experience of undertaking trade negotiations since 1973 because the EU has undertaken them on our behalf.

Despise England? What about the rest of the UK?

Yes this was one of the issues debated about Brexit and why much of British business was getting rather annoyed, I enjoyed the stance JCB took.

My question was England not the UK!

Do you despise England and if so what parts?

No, I do not, and I don't despise the other parts of the UK either.
