Do you wish it be self governing and sovereign?

Or do you want open borders and our laws and regulations to come from Continental Europe and the EU?

It is self governing and sovereign, and all the law in this country has effect either because it is part of the Common Law or because our Parliament says so.

I'm sure your mates down the Dog and Duck are experts on the matter.

If you have so little respect for our country and its sovereign Parliament, perhaps it would be a good idea for you to bugger off. Mind the door on your way out.

Under Mr Schulz’s proposals, Brussels would be given power over individual member states’ foreign and domestic policy, as well as taxes.

Mr Shulz's proposals are, well, proposals. It is axiomatic that proposals for the future do not reflect the situation at the present time.
