CBI plea

Postby dls » Fri Jul 07, 2017 5:36 am

The FBI have urged that we negotiate a transitional membership of the single market until a new deal is complete.

Nice, of course - and would you want ice cream with that?

On the radio this morning the CBI represntative was asked at least four times about how this could be done if the EU refused to offer it, and in what caused her to think that they might. She simply pretended that the question had not been put, and replied that it would be nice to get it.

So accepting (as I assume we all might), that such an arrangement would be comfortable for all concerned, is there any reason to think that the EU given their apparent preference for frightening their own continuing members over the economic interests of their members.

Presume that FBI is a typo for CBI.
