On a not unrelated note, if the Sun newspaper (I use the term loosely) was registered as an official Leave Campaign group, and the paper was full of anti-EU propaganda, then how do they disentangle the spending on propaganda from their regular publication costs?

Their return says that it was for "advertising" but there is no invoice available. Either they have used advertising space in the newspaper to campaign for Leave, or some of their external advertising was partisan enough to constitute an expense.
