The viewing is still climbing.

Yesterday, the main site hit a new high of 12,400 page views. This is a clear 1000 higher than the last high which occurred three weeks ago (just before the half term dip).

Got there - in March we got 540,000 pageviews on the sites as a whole. First time ever I think.

I have in the past relied on alexa.com to assess the success of the sites in comparing us with others, but I have recently discovered similarweb.com

Similarweb calculates matters differently being rather more dependent on google's analytics. In our case, also, it uses our stats direct - and so is as accurate as we will be able to get them. The end results are not hugely different from Alexa, but the added transparency is worthwhile. In particular, Alexa is always an unspecified time behind hand. It updates its results overall fairly often, but there is nothing to say when the calculation was last made, and when it will next be made. Similarweb (appears) to simply do the job monthly. Obviously (ahem) figures are not updated immediately at the beginning of the month, but soon (tap tap tap).
Enough to say that they are still growing quickly.

I live in hope. Very shortly after we reached an all time peak in early May of just under 20k page views in a day, wordpress upgraded, and in doing so, broke the search on the site.
In any event, the figures at the end of May tumble like a parachutist who forgets to pull. A huge re-do of the site was necessary and undertaken, and that was in substance completed by the end of July which mercifully is our quietist month anyway.

We are recovering, and at last are back (just) to being twice as busy as we were last year. That rate of increase cannot be maintained forever, but we live in hope.
