This thread is inspired by hairy's zero tolerance approach to "would" followed by "of"...

I offer:

"Sorry" should not be followed by "if"

Or 'Sorry you', which is used as a fake apology as standard. It doesn't mean the writer is sorry for their actions.
If you can't talk about the problem, how are you ever going to even start talking about the solution?
