WTF is the point of ... ?

A thread for minor rants about things that get your goat. I'll start with one of mine.

WTF is the point of Brioche buns with burgers?

There is always a point and the answer is in the taste!
A brioche bun has a sweet buttery taste looks appealing to eat with a burnish glaze and is far superior to the bog standard roll, muffin or bap in my opinion.

Have a nice day! :D

Your tastes and mine clearly differ, Lab. Brioche is for toasting, serving buttered and with jam at breakfast. It is not for savoury foods. Give me a good sesame seeded bun with my burger any day.

Next.

"Iconic".

So few things that are described as iconic are iconic. They may be very good, well-known etc, but iconic?

Other adjectives are available.

Anything to do/eat/visit/read/have intimate relations with before I die.

I'm not going to do them after I'm dead, am I?

Chuggers. Hipster beards. Bar flies. Cocktails in jugs.

Police 'swooping'. Every bloody time that the police do anything more than politely knock on someone's door they're bloody swooping.

The 'bucket list' seems to me to be a very strange concept. Being rather nearer the kicking thing than most of you, it seems odd to want to be removing ambitions.

I'm with mr grumpy with burger buns. I don't want my burger in cake, chuggers are very very annoying, i do not think anyone will look back and say didnt I look cool with a foot of pubic hair hanging off my face.

But the idea of a list of things you want to do before you die seems good for those who like lists. I prefer promises to my future self. At 15 I promised my 25 year old self, I'd buy a Lotus esprit turbo. I'm afraid i didn't keep my promise once I'd been to see a few
My suggestions are not legal advice
