Tenant loses late night catering license.

Postby deca321 » Thu Feb 23, 2017 10:37 pm

Before a tenant moved in and take over the business, the business had a late night catering license and had so for over 25 years.

The tenant has been caught trading, by the police and council officers, over the prescribed hours by the council. And has lost this license. The council have passed this onto the fiscal.

It is very likely that tenant will not get the license back. The business has severely suffered.

Under these circumstances, and a long with 3 months unpaid rent, would the landlord have a stronger case for terminating the lease and evicting the tenant without any counters.

Scotland jurisdiction.

Are you sure you are a student?

We expect students to put in some efort, e.g. I have been thinking about X, but then Y, and there is also Z.

We won't write your assignment for you. We may give pointers.

We do not have much Scottish law expertise.

And read the lease! It probably contains the answers.
