simple question (i hope)

Is there anything to say that a charity trustee cannot undertake paid work/employment for the said charity?

Might not be sensible, but I do not think anything prohibits it.

Hold on. Schools can have staff governors. Why can a charity not have an employee trustee?

I don't think anyone is saying they cannot, Atti. But there are some obvious role tensions to be managed.
