Victimization not covered by Equality Act

The OP's question is clearly this: what happens if the adverse treatment you receive is not on account of any protected characteristic?

That question has been answered.

Some indication of the detail would assist in pointing the OP to any remedies that may exist.

So what do you think this refers to?

The OP declines to say. He does, however say, that the treatment he has received is not on account of a protected characteristic, and he says nothing to indicate that he may have been hasty in reaching that conclusion.

The OP has asked what his options are. On the information given, I see none. If he gives some idea of the kind of thing that may have happened, there may be a different answer.

You may be able to assist him to understand the nature of the protected characteristic you are encouraging him to identify.

I have suggested that it may be argued as belief. You may think that the suggestion has no merit, but you've made no effort to reject it.

No doubt the OP will clarify whether that which he has said does not apply does in fact apply.

He appears to say it might, but whether it does or not does not alter the general point: if the action has roots in a philosophical belief then discrimination based on the action would be unlawful.
