Can I purchase a cold?

Can I purchase a cold?

Postby Russell » Mon Mar 19, 2018 8:12 pm

I'd like to catch a cold but one that doesn't have coughing at a major symptom. Can you sell a cold? Is this legal?

Of course you can Alex, although it may take some time for symptoms to appear.

Also I have a lovely bridge you may be interested in purchasing.

I used to buy my kids colds off them when they were young. Old wives tale I think but it seemed to make them feel better and was much better than giving them antibiotics.
My son had to go the Doctors 2 or 3 years ago after he came back from holiday in Tunisia and the Doctor couldn't believe he hadn't seen him before.
It's ok your children are safe, they're locked away behind barbed wire gates. If you don't comply sir they'll send you another fine sir.

Almost anything is better than giving antibiotics to a cold: they are caused by viruses, all that antibiotics would do is help to breed super-bugs.

Video showing evolution of antibiotic immunity in E. coli.

How many colds a year do you get? Do you find the more colds you get the milder they are? Do you drink red wine, if so how many colds a year do you get?

Have you had a cold in a hot country? I had one in Cyprus and its was by far the easiest cold I've ever had. Does the heat help?

They should prosecute Doctors for child abuse with the amount of antibiotics they prescribe children. I know a young mum at the moment who's child is under a year old and has had 4 or 5 courses of antibiotics, is on asthma pumps already and I dread to think what else she's giving her. I know I'm not a Doctor but as a parent I can see that there is nothing wrong with the child apart from the mum being overly anxious. Some people treat a trip to the Doctors as part of a routine.

I get the cold once every five years or so. The flu, less.

You can purchase a dose of influenza. Most pharmacies in the UK can sell you one for a tenner. I get one each year.
