however 3 feedback in several years leaves no doubt about the sellers "private" status

Meanwhile, back on topic, there is no reason why OP cannot simply put the thing back on eBay. Hopefully he won't lose too much, and if he presents it well, he might even make a gain.

That is hardly on topic, for the reason that it entails meg acknowledging that he has purchased the item and that that is irrevocable.

how does the original seller know that Megaman doesn't have a penchant for acquiring defective goods exactly of the nature as sold and then reselling them. he may already have stock of these goods already and this new acquisition is just stock replenishment
