Employment issue or regulatory?

Postby fradis16 » Sun May 15, 2016 6:54 pm

If an employee is a lawyer and their employer does an act which is capable of being considered as breach of trust between them. The employee's obligations usually cease but if he then lies about whether he held a conversation with another party is that lie considered a employment issue? Or is the lie considered a regulatory breach and dishonest capable of getting the lawyer struck off?

Student question?
It is not a good one: the premise is unsound.

Sorry but this relies upon several assumptions which may not be correct.
