I expect it varies depending on workload, but roughly how long should one expect to wait between sending off a claim and any action happening on it?

All courts are taking longer and longer. Budgets are being cut.

You appear to have read a loading into the question that was not there. Last time I used it was so long ago I've forgotten how long I should expect it to be longer than. :?

You appear to have read a loading into my answer that was not there. Courts are taking longer and longer. That is a fact; the fact is explained by the reason I gave. How long this court takes to do this thing, you will in due course find out.
