Hi
Issuing a claim of proprietary estoppel in the High Court, but am stumped by my legal text book, in that it states, I must either state that I expect to recover more than £100,000
or
some other enactment (giving details) provides that the claim may be commenced in the High Court.
My claim is for property worth in the region of £500,000, but it's not hard cash so I forget the first statement.
So is the other enactment an equity claim, because these are dealt with in the H C.
So do I just write: My claim is under the legal principals of the law of proprietary estoppel.
Thanks for any helpful comment.
