Statement of case question

Statement of case question

Postby Earl » Tue Dec 06, 2016 9:13 am

Hi,
Reading my civil litigation manual and it states that statement of case should be written in the 'third person.'
Is this correct even if you are a LiP?
Seems odd to me.

I don't think that is necessary. Follow CPR 16 and PD 16.

But whatever you do, be consistent within your document and across all your documents.
