Thanks all for the very helpful ideas.. I do take on board the suggestion of nipping it in the bud, however, either way its done, its going to be seen as an unresolved dispute and management may consider that the previous complaint needs to be re-opened.

Thanks for the tip on the diary and doctors appointments.
