Employment and Discrimination Law

Dress code.

Postby Hairyloon » Thu Jun 22, 2017 10:33 am

There are a few stories in the papers at the moment about chaps not being allowed to wear shorts to work or school in this warm weather and they have, quite sensibly IMO taken to skirts in protest.
I can imagine some employers to get quite affronted by this, on the reasonable grounds that it might upset the clients, but I cannot see anything they can do without falling foul of the Sex Discrimination legislation. Not that I think they should do anything other than get over it and dispense with the bigoted clients...
Take me to your lizard...
