Sorry, but that is the best answer I have got now that we've devolved effectively into a one party state.

Unless the dismissal is for a reason where the qualifying period does not apply. See subsection 3: http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1996/18/section/108

Such a person does not have the right not tobe unfaitly dismissed. However this does not apply toall forms of undairness - the right not to suffer a discriminatory dismissal applies immediately. That is of course or any of the forms of unlawful discrimination.
