The likelihood is that the stupid person will have been sacked not for being stupid but for doing stupid things.

Yes there may come a time where you have to consider taking that action against the employee because the stupid things he or she is doing may harm the company's reputation with the public, the moral of the other employees or cause Health and Safety concerns.

Try applying that criteria to an applicant for a firearms licence.

I am thinking perhaps you have not understood my point, 'cos I don't think I understand yours.

Unless we can agree to what is meant by "stupidity", then the discussion is rather meaningless.

The definition provided earlier by Atticus:
atticus wrote: a class of characteristics that does not come within those defined in the Equality Act 2010 as "Protected Characteristics"..

Is entirely unconvincing.

That was not said in this thread. I have looked.

If I said that somewhere else*, it will have been said in a very specific context, as a specific answer to a specific point or question.

*you will doubtless go away and search and show that I did.

Yes you were specifically asked to define stupidity.

I very much doubt that.

Yes it was, if you recall you made a total arse of yourself then deleted it all to hide the evidence.

It rather surprised me at the time which was why I asked you to confirm what you appeared to be saying. You later cited my request for clarification as a perfect example of how I am maladjusted and a disruption to the forum...
