Is there a prohibition against giving a company a name that appears to affiliate it with another organisation when no such affiliation exists.

Trade marks can also prevent such trading

Limited companies are registered. They can only be registered with a unique name.

but DLS Law ltd and DLS legal Ltd might happily get registered.

Prior use can be a defence against both trademark and passing off.
