Company recording calls

Company recording calls

Postby jaffy1229 » Thu Jan 09, 2014 8:56 pm

I am a sole trader and have been recording calls with another company director who I have a payment dispute with. Is it legal for me to record these calls without his knowledge? I am hoping to use it as evidence in a small cliams court.

Thanks

Yes.

Search the many threads here on covert recording.

Why not use e-mail immediately after to confirm what was agreed?

Thanks. I will try searching. Unfortunately I don't have his email but I think the phone recordings will be enough to show I did have a verbal contract with him for work I did.
