Travels With My Aunt

Last night we saw a performance of a musical adaptation of Graham Greene's 'entertainment' at Chichester Festival Theatre.

This was an excellent adaptation, which worked very well in the intimate setting of the smaler Minerva Theatre. The whole cast was excellent. Led by Patricia Hodge as Aunt Augusta - did you know that she can sing and dance?

I do not know if the production will be going on tour or to the West End. I recommend seeing it if you can. If you can get to Chichester, try to see it there.

If you have not read the book - do. Or else listen to the audiobook read by Tim Piggot Smith - that had me in stitches of laughter.
